Asifabad DSP dies of cardiac arrest

Kumram Bheem Asifabad: DSP (Functional Vertical) Sabbati Vishnu Murthy died of cardiac arrest here on Sunday night. He was 58. Murthy complained of chest pain at night and was immediately shifted to a hospital, where he breathed his last while undergoing treatment. Hailing from Hyderabad, he had joined the Police Department as a Sub-Inspector in 1971 and had worked in Karimnagar, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, Warangal, Nizamabad and Adilabad districts. Meanwhile, the SP expressed grief over the demise of the DSP. He said Murthy was a sincere, disciplined and committed police officer. He assured that all necessary support would be extended to the bereaved family by the department.
