The team announced on Friday that the stadium will be open for the first two games hosted by the Dodgers, with the Sportsnet broadcast played on the massive centre field video board.
Tickets, at $15 a pop, go on sale on Friday at 10 a.m. at bluejays.com/watchparties with next proceeds going to the Jays Care Foundation, the team’s charitable arm.
Doors will open at 7 p.m. in advance of the 8 p.m. scheduled first pitch. The team says that fans can “expect the energy of a live game” with free popcorn, ballpark concessions (not free, of course) and access to the Jays Shop for Jays merchandise.
Rogers, which owns the team and Sportsnet, said it is inviting 1,000 customers to enjoy the watch parties via free admission through its watch parties through its Rogers Beyond the Seat program. Those seats include reserved preferred seating and a vouchers for food and beverage. Rogers customers can enter for a shot at that perk at rogers.com/watchparty.
