Corrections and clarifications

Menzies Campbell / Scottish constituencies

• The byelection win for the Liberal Democrats following Sir Menzies Campbell’s election as party leader was in Dunfermline and West Fife, not “Dunfermline and East Fife” as we misnamed it (Lord Campbell of Pittenweem obituary, 27 September, Journal, p8). And the seat in question did not directly neighbour his own constituency of North East Fife.
