Corrections and clarifications

Private school fees

• An article (Parents look to Europe as VAT pushes up fees for Britain’s private schools, 4 October, p19) mistakenly said fees for day students at Brighton College senior school were £3,500 a term; this is the acceptance deposit. Termly fees for the current academic year range from £9,212 to £12,647, including VAT and price support. Also, the fees stated for the International School of Bremen were for day pupils, not boarding. • Other recently amended articles include: The Hebden Bridge I know was always a place for Riot Women ‘For the sake of peace’: why a Palestinian forgives the Israeli soldier who shot him ‘Frightened to get out of their cars’: Britain’s toxic race debates threaten overseas care workers Trans people at risk of exclusion from many UK public spaces, rights expert says UK charities say toxic immigration rhetoric leading to threats against staff Peru lawmakers vote to oust president Dina Boluarte over crime crisis ‘Cavalier and aggressive’: why are border agents flooding into US cities?
