Egyptian President, Kuwaiti Prime Minister Discuss Regional Developments

Cairo, October 30 (QNA) - Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi met today with HH Prime Minister of Kuwait, Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, who is visiting Egypt, to discuss regional developments and ways to strengthen bilateral relations.In a statement, the Egyptian Presidency said that the Kuwaiti Prime Minister expressed his country's appreciation for Egypt's pivotal role in consolidating security and stability in the region. He also commended Egypt's tireless efforts in reaching a ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip, emphasizing the importance of its full implementation and the commencement of the reconstruction process in the Strip.Regarding bilateral relations, the two leaders agreed to continue following up on the outcomes of the Egyptian President's state visit to Kuwait in April 2015 and to build upon the agreements reached during that visit, particularly in the areas of trade and investment, with a focus on sectors of mutual priority.In this regard, the Egyptian President affirmed his country's welcome of Kuwaiti investments in all fields, stressing Egypt's commitment to removing any obstacles and providing all necessary facilities for the success of Kuwaiti investors in Egypt.
