Enraged Aaron vows to get rid of Kev in Emmerdale amid Robert dilemma

Aaron Dingle spirals further (Picture: ITV) Aaron Dingle’s (Danny Miller) world shattered for the second time this year when he discovered Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley) has a secret husband in Emmerdale. The couple had been on the road to rekindling things in the months after Aaron found out his husband John (Oliver Farnworth) was a killer. But then Kev (Chris Coghill) rocked up in the village, transpiring to be Robert’s secret husband. Aaron then found out about Kev in the oh-so-subtle way of seeing his lover locking lips with his old cell mate. A heated discussion with Robert saw him promise he’d end things with Kev, but Kev had a heart attack before he could do so. Then Aaron learned that Robert plans to take the whole ‘til death do us part’ thing seriously and hold out for Kev to snuff it so that he can get his hands on his cash. He also admitted there were some feelings there, which was a bit of a wounder for Aaron. And to think Robert told Aaron that he had nothing to worry about (Picture: ITV) Aaron then outed Kev in the pub, which made him an instant enemy and won him a death threat from unhinged Kev. And yet, Aaron did not run for the hills like he absolutely should have done from all of Robert’s lies. Instead, he chose to stick around and help Robert see things through. But now it’s crunch time for Aaron, he needs to see action. Kev, meanwhile, has decided he wants to end his feud with Aaron to keep Robert onside. Aaron is not on the same wavelength and issues Robert with his final ultimatum – him or Kev. Kev has other plans though, plans to make sure that Robert remains his – he proposes a vow renewal. Aaron is sick to the stomach when he learns that Robert accepts. Things get even more complicated (Picture: ITV) Kev is thrilled and begins writing his vows from the heart, but Vic (Isabel Hodgins) senses her brother’s heart is not in it. She urges Aaron to come clean to Rob about the depth of his feelings, but Aaron is heartbroken to see Kev and Robert loved up together. So, Aaron takes matters into his own hands and issues Robert a stark warning– if he chooses to go ahead with the vow renewal, Aaron will take his own action. Aaron vs. Kev, who will win?
