Gary Player penned a heartfelt note as he turned 90. In one of his posts, he even lauded "truly magical Africa." He turned 90 on November 1 and was in Sun City, South Africa, to celebrate.Player shared a black and white picture on his X handle and wrote an acknowledgement post for his friends and family, who accompanied him on his life journey. He added that as he turned 90, he would keep bringing people together through golf, charity, and events. He wrote:“What an incredible feeling to be back at Sun City, surrounded by friends, family, and supporters who have walked this journey with me for so many years. As I turn 90, I find myself even more grateful for the privilege to keep doing what I love most - bringing people together through golf, charity, and friendship. Woods' last major win came at the 2019 Masters Tournament at Augusta National. Nicklaus' was at the 1986 Masters Tournament, and Player’s last major triumph came at the 1978 Masters Tournament.
