"Has the ball with space to make the cross" - Ruben Amorim reveals issues with Manchester United star after Forest draw

Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim has admitted that Diogo Dalot cannot cross from the left flank because he is right-footed. He believes that it is a key reason why the Portuguese defender tries to drift in and is left without space.Speaking to the media after the 2-2 draw against Nottingham Forest, Amorim said that starting Dalot as a left wing-back poses an issue. He wants to see more crosses, but the defender is unable to do it as he will need to use his weaker foot. Sometimes, when you play away, you can feel that. [My players] gave everything, and you could see it in the game but, in the small details, the energy was not the same. We have to work on that. Like I was saying, we were in control of the game.
