Heidi Klum’s Husband Tom Kaulitz Debuts Rock-Solid Costume for Halloween 2025

Tom Kaulitz arrived at wife Heidi Klum's 2025 Halloween party as a warrior turned to stone alongside her snarling, snake-haired Medusa.

The Tokio Hotel bassist, 36, joined his wife Heidi Klum, 52, at her annual Halloween party and the pair leaned into spooky season together as they dressed up as the Gorgon Medusa and what happens after you look at the mythological creature with hair made of snakes.

As in, Kaulitz looked uncannily like a warrior who had turned into stone.

As usual, Heidi and Tom's looks were top-secret until the second they hit the carpet outside the Hard Rock Hotel in New York, but she had been teasing snippets of her laborious getting-ready process throughout the day.

This year wasn’t the first time Tom—who tied the knot with Heidi in 2019—has dressed up alongside the Project Runway host. For the 2024 bash, he and Heidi sported entirely prosthetic E.T. costumes inspired by Steven Spielberg’s 1982 movie E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial. And there was quite a prep time to pull the looks off.

“It took one year to get ready,” Heidi told E! News on the red carpet of last year’s event. “We started at 10 a.m. this morning. We just got ready, we just came down.” 

And Tom gave a peek into what went into the out-of-this-world ensembles, adding, “It took a whole team of amazing people. And lots of planning.”

Plus, shortly after Heidi—mom to Leni, 21, Henry, 20, Johan, 18, and Lou, 16, with ex-husband Seal—met Tom in 2018, the musician partnered with his then-girlfriend on their first joint costume: Shrek and Fiona from the Shrek franchise. 

Beyond their shared love of dressing up on Halloween, the America’s Got Talent judge has detailed how one way she and Tom keep their marriage “spicy” is by shopping for her lingerie together.

“He loves sitting there and I go into the changing room and I come out with a different outfit on,” she told People in July. “He loves me in a mini skirt. He loves me in pumps. He just loves when I get all dolled up.”
