Hollyoaks star admits 'I'm not scared of anything' and teases I'm A Celebrity stint

A Hollyoaks star is hoping to swap the fictional village for the Australian jungle. Tamara Wall has revealed her desire to follow in the footsteps of co-stars Nick Pickard, Owen Warner and Jorgie Porter by appearing on I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! Her final scenes as Grace Black aired earlier this week which saw the village villain flatline in hospital after being shot by her sister Clare Devine (Gemma Bissix). Speaking about what lies ahead following her Hollyoaks departure, Tamara said: "I'd definitely love to go in the jungle because I'm not scared of anything. "Half of the insects they have crawling around them all the time I had as pets. It doesn't scare me at all.", reports the Mirror . "I'd love to go on Strictly too but as an ex professional dancer it's probably a bit controversial." The actress played the villain in the Channel 4 soap since 2013 and appeared in countless gripping storylines over the past 12 years. Her concluding scenes showed Grace's participation in human trafficking, with Tamara admitting there was no possibility of redemption for her character. Tamara revealed: "I think at the end of the day, you have to have morals as a show and I didn't want it to look like Hollyoaks didn't care. "I just don't think there was anyway of redeeming Grace as a character for everything that she's done but I think with the ending she had, she got to say she was sorry. "I was really nervous that all the fans would be like 'yay she's dead' but they weren't at all and that was bizarrely nice." Grace had recently discovered Rex Gallagher (Jonny Labey) was her son rather than her brother and she died just moments after he addressed her as "mum" for the first time. Tamara revealed that her exit was wrapped in such secrecy that she couldn't tell even her nearest and dearest until the last minute. She confessed: "So many people were genuinely shocked because we managed to keep it a secret for once. It was so hard and I couldn't even tell my mum." Speculation about celebrity contestants lined up for the forthcoming series of I'm A Celebrity includes Loose Women star Kelly Brook, model and TV personality Vogue Williams and Emmerdale favourite Lisa Riley. Hollyoaks airs Monday to Wednesday on E4 at 7pm and first look episodes can be streamed Channel 4 from 7am
