Joseph Woll Returns in Conditioning Stint with Toronto Marlies Tonight

Tonight against the Lehigh Valley Phantoms, Joseph Woll made his season debut in a conditioning stint with the Toronto Marlies. Woll has been out since the start of training camp as he dealt with personal matters. He rejoined the Maple Leafs on October 24th and was sent to the Marlies for a conditioning stint. He got the start tonight in Lehigh Valley, PA. The Marlies currently trail 3-1 in the second period and Woll’s night is done. Woll stopped 21 of the 24 shots he faced; he had his helmet knocked off on the first shot he saw since last season. He was stellar in the first 20 minutes stopping all nine shots he faced.
