Ntabankulu Municipality aims to create jobs for the youth

The Ntabankulu Municipality in the Eastern Cape says it’s determined to attract investors to the area and create job opportunities for the youth. This, after the small rural town of Ntabankulu hosted its biggest rural horse racing event yesterday. Scores of people from various provinces attended the Ntabankulu Horse Racing event at the Nozolisa Sports ground. The Ntabankulu Municipality says the aim of the event is to boost the local economy through promoting tourism. One of the organisers Doctor Siphelele Mlobeli says the race brings economic stability. “You’ve seen the creation of jobs and empowerment of people from Ntabankulu. We’ve seen a lot of our fashion designers getting opportunities to be seen and heard. So, this race brings quite a lot to the municipality. I can tell you now that all the BnBs are full a sign that businesses are generating,” says Mlobeli.
