Osimhen tempting former Napoli teammate to join Galatasaray

Victor Osimhen has reportedly pitched Galatasaray to his former Napoli teammate. Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen is reportedly pushing for Frank Zambo Anguissa, his former teammate at Napoli, to make the switch to Galatasaray like he did. The Cameroon international joined Partenopei in the summer of 2021 and won the Scudetto with Osimhen. His Napoli contract expires in 2027, and he has been linked with an exit. While they signed Ilkay Gundogan from Manchester City in the summer, the Turkish champions are keen on improving their midfield options and are said to have Anguissa on their radar. Anguissa was reportedly close to a move to the Saudi Pro League or Sunderland in the summer transfer window, but Antonio Conte blocked the move, convincing him to stay. The former Villarreal man is an important member of Conte’s squad, and Galatasaray will be expected to demand about €27 million for his services.
