Police arrested UAB offensive lineman Daniel Mincey after a stabbing inside the University of Alabama’s Football Operations Center, according to New York Times report. Two players were injured in the incident and sent emergency crews to the campus on Friday morning. Mincey joined UAB this off season after transferring from Kentucky. What Police Said Campus Police officers arrested Mincey and charged him with aggravated assault and attempted murder. Birmingham Fire and Rescue took at least two victims to UAB Hospital. The university’s first statement said the players’ injuries were “non-life threatening.” Jefferson County Jail records show Mincey was booked at 12.40 pm local time and moved to the county jail as a pretrial inmate.
