Vanessa Hudgens gives birth to second child

Vanessa Hudgens has welcomed her second child with husband Cole Tucker. The High School Musical star took to Instagram on Saturday to share a photo of her lying in a hospital bed whilst holding onto the 29-year-old former professional baseball shortstop and outfielder's hand. Hudgens - who gave birth to their first child in July 2024 - captioned the post with: "Well .... I did it. Had another baby!!! What a wild ride labour is. Big shout out to all the moms. "It's truly incredible what our bodies can do." Like their first child, the 36-year-old actress and the sportsman have decided to keep the name and sex of the newborn private. In July, Hudgens and Cole announced they were expecting their second child. She confirmed the news on Instagram with a series of photos of her and Cole beaming with joy as Hudgens showed off her baby bump. The star captioned the post with: "Round two!!!" Hudgens's career choices were made with her future children at the forefront of her thoughts. She told E! News: "I'll show my kids all my work. That's why I chose things along the way in my career. I wanted to make sure that when I did have kids, there would be something for them to watch at every age." Hudgens and actor Austin Butler were in a long-term relationship, but it ended in 2020 after nine years together. That year she met Cole and they got engaged in February 2023 and married in December 2023, in front of 100 guests, including her High School Musical costars Monique Coleman and Lucas Grabeel at their fairytale wedding in Tulum, Mexico.
