He was asked if it was frustrating in a game where it felt like he could have had more opportunities. Cook was quick to shower his teammates with praise, a selfless act from the mild-mannered running back."No, because I trust the guys that's behind me," Cook said. "We all work together, so you know, just can't be selfish. You gotta let those guys eat, and when my time comes, I just gotta take advantage of it."Cook also offered that he felt like he could go again after barely being hit in the contest. Who knows what another 10 to 12 carries for the running back would've looked like after the performance that he had on Sunday.

The Denver Broncos are coming off back-to-back wins that both looked very different. In the win over the Philadelphia Eagles, the offense came alive in the fourth quarter with quarterback Bo Nix putting on his Superman cape and having one of his best performances of his young career. As for the New York Jets game, it was all defense, which brought down quarterback Justin Fields nine times and made his life miserable all day . One of the players who made life difficult for Fields was none other than rising star Jonathon Cooper. Cooper is turning heads with his comments about New York Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart ahead of this week's game. In fact, he may have just given the team some perfect bulletin board material heading into the matchup. "He's a young guy," Cooper said. "He's feeling himself a little bit. He's out there running around. He's got the chain on. He's dancing. I feel like everybody needs something, you know. We've went against QBs who have ran around in the pocket and have tried to do stuff with their legs, ain't nothing we haven't seen."

The team is abroad, but don't get it twisted, it's all business for head coach Sean Payton and the Denver Broncos organization.Ahead of the contest, the Broncos released their injury report on Thursday, and while the team does have a relatively clean bill of health, there's cause for concern.Outside linebacker Jonah Elliss has been unable to practice on Wednesday or Thursday, putting his status for Week 6 against the New York Jets in question. Outside of Elliss, guard Ben Powers was the only player who didn't practice, as he's been placed on injured reserve and will be sidelined for the next four weeks. Powers played in the victory over the Philadelphia Eagles, but it was reported after the game that Powers needed surgery to help repair his bicep, a brutal blow for quarterback Bo Nix and the offense. Denver Broncos Thursday injury report Sean Payton is already looking at the next man up Elliss is a dominant rotational piece for the Broncos on a defense that's already leading the league in sacks. During his 2024 campaign, Elliss proved to be a difference-maker for the Broncos. He finished the 2024 season playing in all 17 games and the playoff loss to the Buffalo Bills, where it was later reported Elliss had suffered a fractured scapula. He finished his season with 38 total tackles, six quarterback hits, five sacks, and two pass breakups.
