WATCH: Furries Join Anti-Trump 'No Kings' Protest in D.C.

Leftist Democrats at the “No Kings” protest in Washington, DC, on Saturday wore inflatable costumes to show their opposition to President Donald Trump. When the first round of the “No Kings” protests happened, leftists avoided the nation’s capital. However, Saturday saw many of them show up on the National Mall in brightly-colored costumes. One woman told the crowd, “If you are willing to be an inflatable dinosaur we need you! Who wants to be an inflatable dinosaur?” Photos taken by Breitbart News showed protesters in costumes ranging from dinosaurs, bald eagles, frogs, peacocks, and lobsters. In a video posted online Friday, a man is seen wearing a dress with the “No Kings” symbol and a picture of Tylenol on his chest. He is also wearing black and white animal ears that resemble the furry subculture wherein people dress as anthropomorphic animal characters. A woman standing near the man held a sign that read, “I’m a paid Antifa terrorist disguised as a grandma.” Breitbart News live video footage showed a person dressed as a Trump baby holding a sign that read “Fascism Wears Diapers Now” while others held a banner that said, “Love to Everyone, We Are Stronger Together.” During a press conference on Friday, House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) said leftists will be engaging in the “hate America rally” over the weekend in reference to the “No Kings” protests, according to Breitbart News. He said Americans could expect to see “the Marxists, the socialists, the Antifa advocates, the anarchists, and the pro-Hamas wing of the far-left Democrat Party” who he collectively described as “the modern Democratic Party.” “That’s where they’ve gone, and the hate America rally is the common theme among all those groups. Listen to the language they use themselves. Many of them don’t like living in America. They hate capitalism. They hate our free enterprise system. They hate our principles. They hate the ideas that we come in to work every day to fight for, to preserve the greatest nation in the history of the world,” he added.

WATCH: Adam Schiff Dodges Question on Whether Democrats Will Win in Midterms at 'No Kings' Protest in DC

Sen. Adam Schiff (D-CA) on Saturday refused to answer whether Democrats would retake the majority in the House and Senate as the midterms loom. Schiff had just finished speaking into a bullhorn to Democrat leftists at the anti-Trump “No Kings” protests in Washington, DC, when Breitbart News asked him the question. “Do you think that Democrats will take the House and Senate?” Breitbart News asked him. However Schiff said, “I’m gonna join the march, I’m sorry,” and avoided the question when it was asked a second time. A man standing in front of Schiff then said, “We’re not doing interviews right now, thank you.” In August, President Donald Trump said he may recommend holding a Republican National Convention before the midterm elections and touted how well the Republican Party is getting on, Breitbart News reported at the time. He wrote in a social media post: The Republican Party is doing really well. Millions of people have joined us in our quest to MAKE AMERICA, GREAT AGAIN. We won every aspect of the Presidential Election and, based on the great success we are having, are poised to WIN BIG IN THE MIDTERMS. We have raised far more money than the Democrats, and are having a great time fixing all of the Country Destroying mistakes made by the Biden Administration, and watching the USA heal and prosper. The results are incredible, a record pace!!! In that light, I am thinking of recommending a National Convention to the Republican Party, just prior to the Midterms. It has never been done before. STAY TUNED!!! DONALD J. TRUMP, PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA During an interview on the “Alex Marlow Show,” House Republican Whip Tom Emmer (R-MN) previewed the midterm elections by stating, “I think we’ll not only hold onto it, but we will expand it to some extent… Democrats… have 13 of their members in seats that Donald Trump won in the last presidential election. We only have three.”
