Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce reality show - 'This wedding will be mind-boggling'

With 2026 shaping up to be another monumental year for Taylor and Travis , excitement is building over what could be the most talked-about showbiz wedding of all time. Fans have been quick to pinpoint Saturday 13 June 2026 as a potential date , not least because 13 is Taylor’s favourite number. It is also the only Saturday in the whole of next year to fall on the 13th of any month, while 26 itself has significance as the sum of 13+13. In an added layer of symmetry, the couple announced their engagement on 26 August this year. “We don’t know what they’re going to do yet, but the mind boggles at how massive this wedding could be,” says Annie Zaleski, author of Taylor Swift: The Stories Behind T he Songs. “There’s already huge speculation over the venue, the rings and, of course, what dress Taylor will choose.” Although still a ‘will they, won’t they’ question for next year, dress designers are already experiencing a surge of interest over what Taylor might wear to walk down the aisle. Style insiders believe she may opt for a dress by Elie Saab, one of her go-to outfitters, especially as she wore two bridal-inspired gowns by the Lebanese designer during her Eras Tour – including one with white florals and a sequinned bodice. Others believe Taylor might pick the late British designer Vivienne Westwood, whose creations also featured in her Eras shows. Whoever she chooses, Nicala La Reau, marketing director for wedding gown firm Pronovias, believes her dress will be a real statement piece. “Taylor’s style has always told a story, one that is romantic, symbolic and era-defining,” she says. “Her wedding dress will be more than just a fabric and silhouette, it will be a love song in couture.” Meanwhile, if Taylor and Travis need help with organising their big day, lifestyle guru Martha Stewart has been quick to throw her hat in the ring. “It’s time to call in the ultimate wedding planner,” she posted on Instagram . Aside from a possible wedding in 2026, many believe Taylor and Travis will not leave it long before starting a family. “I want a bunch of [children] running around, minimum four,” Taylor once said. “The idea of pouring everything you are into another person when you become a parent has always been amazing to me.” Travis has openly admitted wanting children too, and his sister-in-law Kylie Kelce has called him “the absolute best uncle you can imagine” to her and Jason’s four daughters. Director of E20 Communications Lynn Carratt says, “He’s known as ‘Uncle Trav’ and is so cute with his nieces. As he comes towards the end of his NFL days and Taylor’s career remains in a stable place, it seems like parenthood could be the natural next step for them.” However, despite Taylor turning 36 in December, Annie believes she won’t be swayed by any expectations around motherhood. “There’s so much pressure on women to start a family, and I think Taylor and Travis will just do it in their own time, whenever it feels right.” Next year brings with it a key anniversary, marking 20 years since the release of Taylor’s first album. The self-titled recording, Taylor Swift , first dropped in October 2006, and many believe a new version is on the way. “I’ve already re-recorded my entire debut album,” the singer revealed in May. “And I really love how it sounds now.” She also told how the album – along with a re-recording of 2017’s Reputation – would have a “moment to re-emerge when the time is right.” As Annie says, “Taylor always marks the big things in good ways, so I think she’ll definitely do something for fans to celebrate.” Inevitably, Swifties are also looking for signs that a new tour could be in the offing to support The Life O f A Showgirl. The jury seems to be out however, especially after Taylor’s exhausting schedule on The Eras Tour . “It’s hard to know where she’ll go next, because Eras was such an amazing accomplishment, and a unique, flawlessly executed concept,” says Annie. “She’s still going to be a stadium act because that’s the level she’s at, but you can’t imagine she’ll do anything like Eras again for some time.” Lynn agrees with such a view, saying, “Any tour in the near future will probably be more intimate, and in shorter stages. She might just do a small US tour, and then hit places like the UK several months later. I doubt she’ll do another massive world tour until after she and Travis have got married.” As an alternative, there have been suggestions that Taylor will commit to a Las Vegas residency tying into her album’s showgirl theme. Another performance she has been tipped for is the Super Bowl halftime show in February, which will have added appeal if Travis and the Kansas City Chiefs make it to the hotly-contested game. “We would always love to have Taylor play,” NFL commissioner Roger Goodell said in September. “She is a special, special talent, and obviously she would be welcome at any time.” When asked if plans were in progress, he said coyly, “I can’t tell you anything about it. It’s a maybe.” For Travis, rumours of retirement from American football appear to be gathering pace, particularly after he was on the losing side at this year’s Super Bowl. Following the bruising defeat by the Philadelphia Eagles, he spoke of extensive “wear and tear” on both his body and mind. And despite insisting, “I’m not making any crazy decisions,” he admitted he was “just kicking everything down the road”. If he does step away at the end of the current season, Travis is set to pursue a blossoming career in TV and film. Earlier this year, he was brought in as executive producer for the film My Dead Friend Zoe , which he called “an incredible experience”. The film’s director, Kyle Hausmann-Stokes, said Travis brought a “tidal wave of energy”, while producer Paul Scanlan said, “He’s such a likable guy and he’s a good actor.” Travis also bagged a small role in this summer’s film Happy Gilmore 2 , in which he played a country club waiter, calling the opportunity “off the chain”. It goes without saying that he and Taylor will prove an unstoppable force if they decide to team up for joint projects. As PR exec Nicole Tidei puts it, “Swift and Kelce are no longer just individual powerhouses building influence in separate lanes. They’re a merged brand ecosystem with unparalleled reach.” Communications expert Lynn also believes their impact as a double act could be astonishing. “They’ve got huge potential to expand beyond music and sport, and I know Paramount are keen to do a fly-on-the-wall documentary on them. "We saw the success of David Beckham ’s Emmy-winning Netflix series, and if Taylor and Travis did something similar, it would probably win awards too.” Lynn also suggests they could partner up for a collaborative fashion venture. “They both love clothes and style, and their branding potential as a duo is really exciting. Whatever they do will turn to gold.” But regardless of any new directions over the coming months, protecting and nurturing their relationship will surely be their greatest priority of all. “These are two people who are genuinely, totally in love, and who absolutely respect one another,” says Annie. “They are each other’s biggest cheerleader, and in the world we live in that’s just a lovely, positive thing to see.” * Follow Mirror Celebs on Snapchat , Instagram , Twitter , Facebook , YouTube and Threads .
