How to complete First Foothold quest in Arc Raiders

A First Foothold is one of the first major tasks you’ll face in ARC Raiders. It acts as an introduction to the Blue Gate map, helping you get comfortable with exploration and interaction across multiple objective zones. The quest sends you to four specific spots on the map, each requiring a different type of task, from stabilizing a dock to repairing rooftop panels.In this article, we’ll discuss how to complete the A First Foothold quest in ARC Raiders.A guide to complete ARC Raiders A First Foothold questHere’s a detailed breakdown of how to finish each objective in the A First Foothold mission:Objective 1: Stabilize the Observation Dock near the RidgelineStart by heading to the Ridgeline region. Look for a raised metal platform; this is the observation dock you need to stabilize.Interact with the support beams under the dock to stabilize it (Image via Embark Studios)Once you get close enough, check around the support beams beneath the platform. You’ll see an option to “Stabilize Deck.” Interact with it to complete the first objective.Make sure the area is clear of nearby hostiles before interacting, since the animation can leave you exposed for a few seconds.Objective 2: Enable the Comms Terminal near the Olive GroveNext, head southwest of Olive Grove, where you’ll come across a small camp setup on a hillside. Once on the roof, look for a satellite dish. Interact with it to “Rotate Dishes” and finish this part of the mission. This area is fairly open, so check for patrols or enemy drones before climbing.Objective 4: Nail Down the Roof Plates on the Raider Structure near Trapper’s GladeFor the final objective, head toward Trapper’s Glade, a wooded zone west of the map. The area can be easily identified by the traffic cones placed around the damaged section.
