Malcolm in the Middle's Frankie Muniz was told not to post a reunion photo for the upcoming sequel series, but remembered no one's the boss of him now

Malcolm in the Middle actor Frankie Muniz has posted a reunion photo with his on-screen brothers ahead of the upcoming sequel series. "I was told not to post this yet, but then I remembered the theme song," Muniz posted on Twitter, a reference to the We Might Be Giants 'Boss of Me'. "I'm just too excited for y'all to see the new episodes and I miss my brothers." As you can see below, Muniz is pictured alongside an almost-unrecognizable Justin Berfield (Reese) and Christopher Masterson, who played troublesome older brother Francis in the comedy, which initially ran from 2000 to 2006. Malcolm in the Middle will return as a four-episode miniseries where, years later, the boys of the boys attend Hal and Lois' 40th wedding anniversary celebrations. With their own children in tow and fraught family dynamics bubbling over, chaos will inevitably ensue. One actor who won't be returning, however, is Erik Per Sullivan, who portrayed Dewey. Hal actor Bryan Cranston revealed earlier this year that Sullivan was asked to return but politely declined. His role will now be played by Caleb Ellsworth-Clark. Speaking on the Lightweights podcast, Muniz reassured fans of the quality of the upcoming episodes, titled Life's Still Unfair. "It’s hard to fit in 20 years of stuff in four 30-minute episodes, but I think people are gonna be very happy with what they came up with," Muniz said back in September. Malcolm in the Middle: Life's Still Unfair is expected to premiere on Disney Plus in 2026. For more, check out our guide to new TV shows.

Chainsaw Man dub actor reveals which Reze Arc scene he was warned would be his "hardest performance" to date – and it involves no blood at all

The English dub actor for Denji has revealed the tongue-in-cheek warning he was given about performing a surprisingly low-key scene from the Chainsaw Man movie. Minor spoilers for Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc follow. Ryan Colt Levy took to Twitter to reply to a fan's curiosity over Denji's infamous coffee tasting scene with Reze in the Crossroads cafe. He wrote, "One day [Aki voice actor] Reagan Murdock came up to me & said 'this will be the hardest performance of your life.'" The moment in question sees every teenage boy's reaction to tasting coffee for the first time come to life on the big screen: Denji convulsing and spluttering after he's egged on to try a cup of coffee. For someone who was desperate for just jam and bread last season, we're not surprised his palate hasn't been refined just yet, to be honest. But it's less the vocal range and talent required that was the source of difficulty for Levy and, rather, that the Denji voice actor is a coffee fiend in real life. As a coffee hater myself, I can't relate. Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc, a canon continuation of the anime, follows Denji off the back of the continued search for the nefarious Gun Devil. He is suddenly torn between his work life and personal life, however, when a new love interest – the titular Reze – enters the scene, complete with an explosive secret. Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc is now in cinemas, and we're here to help you every step of the way. Whether you don't know what to watch before the Chainsaw Man movie or are curious to see what to read after the Chainsaw Man movie, we've got you covered. There are also spoiler-filled breakdowns of the Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc ending and Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc post-credits to dive into.

Frieren: Beyond Journey's End is no ordinary anime, however, after being voted the best anime of all time on anime's answer to Rotten Tomatoes over at aggregator My Anime List. Frieren: Beyond Journey's End follows the later life of Frieren, an ancient mage who helped defeat the Demon King with a party of heroes. Decades later, with those friends either old or dead, Frieren must contend with her near-immortality and the lives she touched in a world that continually passes her by. The second season should adapt the manga's Continued Northern Travels arc as Frieren – with a qualified mage in tow in the shape of Fern – is now able to travel further north onto her final destination of Aureole. It is there, in the place known as 'Heaven', that she bids to say farewell to the hero Himmel. For more, discover the rest of the new anime coming your way in 2026.
