Jude Bellingham scored the winner in a 2-1 thriller at the Santiago Bernabeu on Sunday, a match that also saw Kylian Mbappe miss a penalty and Pedri sent off in the final seconds. As is so often the case, the arch-rivals clashed during and after the game, with Barcelona wonderkid Yamal the main target for Real following comments he made ahead of one of football’s biggest derbies. Speaking on a YouTube channel recently, the 18-year-old said of Los Blancos: ‘They rob [a reference to refereeing decisions], they complain, they do things.’ As seen in fan footage, upon the full-whistle, Real captain Dani Carvajal immediately confronted Yamal, mimicking a mouth with his hand and reportedly telling his Spain teammate: ‘You speak too much. Speak now.’ The teenager attempted to approach the defender but was held back by Real star Eduardo Camavinga, sparking a shoving match between the teams, with Marcus Rashford among those trying to diffuse the conflict.
