Before he portrayed Thor, the God of Thunder on the big screen, Chris Hemsworth was channelling a hometown hero: Steve Irwin, the original Wildlife Warrior. In a hilarious yet heartfelt throwback video, the Aussie actor dressed up as the late conservationist – khakis and all – while filming himself in a bush setting as if he was in an episode of The Crocodile Hunter. “How you going folks?” a teenage-looking Hemsworth said in his best Steve Irwin accent. “We’ve got a real bloody ripper in store for you today. It’s gonna be bloody unreal!” Copied URL to clipboard Chris Hemsworth impersonates Steve Irwin in throwback video Chris Hemsworth has shared throwback footage of himself impersonating... Hemsworth then ran off into the bush for an adventure, saying on camera that he was on the lookout for a fictional Siberian tiger Australian fox. “Have a Looksie. That’s what I’m talking about,” he said after spotting a “fox” in the wild. “Deadly-as. He’s digging a hole probably to drag some humans into it.” He then ran and tackled the “fox”, aka his family dog. “Next week, we’ll be chasing the Australian grasshopper! Can’t wait!” he said on camera. Chris Hemsworth channelled Steve Irwin in childhood video. Picture: Instagram Hemsworth called Irwin his hero in the throwback video. To mark its release, Hemsworth hosted a screening of his Steve Irwin video which was attended by his dad Craig and mum Leonie, who laughed over their son’s childhood antics. “You almost spelled ‘crocodile’ correct,” his dad said of Hemsworth’s handwritten ‘Crocidile Hunter’ sign. “This is gold.” The Aussie actor accurately mimicked Irwin’s mannerisms. Picture: Instagram MORE: Robert’s sad fortune left by Steve Irwin Hemsworth then shared the clip of his parents watching him impersonate Irwin on Instagram, in which he joked about the video being his first “acting gig”. “My first self-appointed, unofficial acting gig,” he captioned the clip. “I drew inspiration from one of my heroes, the Crocodile Hunter himself.” “Thanks for getting me my highest grade ever in school, a C-.” More Coverage ‘Escorted out’: Huge pop star snaps on stage Leah Goulis Disturbing footage shows actress ‘drugged’ Christine Estera The late Wildlife Warrior’s son, Robert Irwin, said his dad would have been so impressed, he surely would have given the actor a higher grade “I reckon Dad would’ve been stoked,” Robert commented on Instagram. Foreman Dan slams Block auction results

The show’s longtime site foreman - and former contestant - expressed his dismay on Instagram when a fan asked him in the comments section why reserve prices for the Daylesford homes were so high, forcing two couples to watch their homes passed in at auction, with one failing to attract a single bid. “Who did the reserve prices?” one follower asked Dan, to which he replied, “Someone who hopefully won’t be doing it again.” As fans of The Block continued to flood the show’s social media posts overnight to express their anger over this year’s auction results, Dan again didn’t hold back when asked by another fan, “Aren’t you upset that two houses have not won any money? I’ve been screaming at the TV! The reserves are just too high!” Dan wrote back, “I am gutted for them.” In shock results, Emma and Ben, and Han and Can, failed to attract enough interest with both their houses passed in at auction after failing to meet their reserves. Bidding for Em and Ben’s house stalled at their $2.99 million reserve, while Han and Can’s home also failed to sell, with the ladies walking away without a single cent. The WA couple had the most to worry about heading into auction day: They were the only team not to have a single registered bidder. And they were right to worry: They started with an opening vendor bid of $3.1 million in the hopes of starting off the bidding above their reserve. But that tactic failed to work and left them empty-handed. It seems Dan and his wife Dani had called it prior to auction day. The couple, both ex-Block contestants themselves, predicted this week that Han and Can would end up as the “chumps” on auction day, saying their house felt more geared towards an inner city buyer than someone looking for a rural escape. As for Em and Ben, bidding didn’t pass their reserve of $2.99 million, with the couple begging their auctioneer to “stop” the auction before they end up with a definitive zero profit. The auction then restarts with an opening vendor bid of $3.10 million, which goes down like a lead balloon. The comments came thick and fast on social media. “Absolutely disgraceful having the reserves so high in Daylesford. It’s an absolute fail. Shame on the shows producers,” one fan fumed. “Auction reserves were way too high. Anyone looking for the properties online during the week could see that the auction prices for comparable homes in the area are mostly all sitting around the $2.6-2.9m mark,” wrote another. Host Scott Cam was just as disappointed with this year’s auction results, but he noted that they were at least “more realistic” compared to the inflated battles between the super-rich that have played out in recent years. In previous Block finales, super-rich serial Block buyer Adrian Portelli was present and bidding left, right and centre on all the houses. Last year, he bought all five houses at auction. So his absence was certainly felt last night. Shortly after The Block finale aired, Portelli couldn’t help but post a pointed dig on social media, pouring salt in the wounds by sharing a selfie with a string of “crickets” emojis. He then followed it up with another post to his Instagram stories, making his new allegiances clear to Seven’s yet-to-air rival reno show, My Reno Rules. He posted The Block’s logo, scribbled out with My Reno Rules written on top. WA couple Britt and Taz won the season with an auction profit of $420,000, plus $100,000 prize money, taking them to $520,000. That’s an impressive win, but incredibly, it’s less than last year’s fifth-placed team won at auction.

Star shocks mum with virginity bombshell

Returning to the mansion where earlier episodes of the family’s reality show were filmed, Kendall got nostalgic as she recalled moments in her childhood that unfolded inside that house – a house that Kris is now in the process of selling. MORE: Kris’ unexpected $21m Kardashian bombshell Memories were evoked when the 29-year-old model walked in and distinctly remembered losing her virginity inside one of the rooms. “I lost my virginity in that room,” she told her mum and sister, Khloe Kardashian, as cameras rolled. “Stop it, where was I?” a shocked Kris replied. Kendall appeared to backtrack before spilling more details. “I actually didn’t, I didn’t, I didn’t,” she reassured her mother before saying, “It was at his house.” As Kris, 69, continued to look mortified, Kendall said, “You guys didn’t care,” to which Kris countered, “Didn’t care?!” In a later confessional, Kendall explained that her mum was so liberal with her growing up that she was basically free to come and go as she pleased. “Not only did she not know, she really didn’t give a f**k. She was like, ‘Oh, you are going out until Wednesday? Great. Never come back,’” Kendall laughed. While the former Victoria’s Secret model did not reveal the identity of the man she lost her virginity to, in her early dating years she was linked to stars such as singers Harry Styles and Nick Jonas, rapper A$AP Rocky, NBA stars Blake Griffin and Jordan Clarkson. In most recent years, she has dated rapper Bad Bunny and Aussie NBA star Ben Simmons, whose sister mocked Kendall this week in a random and unprovoked TikTok video. Elsewhere in The Kardashians season premiere, Kendall also left her mother in disbelief when she confessed to smoking marijuana with her sister, Kylie Jenner, inside their backyard cabana. “I’m going to the cabana to say goodbye,” she told her mum in a later scene. “I used to smoke a lot of weed in there when you weren’t looking.” “Wow. You did? How old were you?” Kris dared ask, to which Kendall replied, “Like 16. Kylie was 14.” “Am I just as blind as a bat that I didn’t pick up on that?” Kris wondered. Kendall explained that she and Kylie, now 28, would “shut those curtains and we were like, ‘Oh this is so much more obvious.’” ‘Mum, you didn’t have a clue what happened half the time with your kids,” Khloe chimed in. “You’d be like, ‘You’re doing drugs? That’s fine, because I’m a cool mum!’”
