Coronation Street fans 'work out' who will expose Becky Swain in Swarla development

Coronation Street fans think they've figured out who will expose Becky Swain after Carla Connor's Rovers Return rampage. On Friday (October 31), Halloween officially arrived in Weatherfield, and there was almost nothing spookier than Carla learning the truth about Becky's actions. As viewers will recall, Carla struck up a relationship with DS Lisa Swain and the pair moved in recently with Lisa's daughter Betsy, swiftly leading to their engagement. However, their bliss soon came to an abrupt end as Lisa's "dead" wife Becky Swain returned after years of Lisa and Betsy thinking they had buried her. In reality, Becky was sent away to Spain under a different name to avoid a gang she was tracking down finding her, and her family. This sent Lisa into a spiral of confusion, struggling with how to cope now that she'd finally moved on with Carla after years of grieving. Of course, they couldn't publicly announce that Becky had come back from the dead, so they were quick to say she's Lisa's visiting sister. While Carla was away in Ireland for a funeral, Becky tried to get closer to Lisa, but Carla's swift arrival home put a spanner in the works. However, on Friday Becky made her move on Lisa, kissing her before being rejected by her ex-wife. Much to viewers approval, Lisa decided to tell Carla, as she said: "She kissed me... It was barely a kiss, I pushed her away." As Carla felt that she couldn't compete with Becky, Lisa added: "There is nothing going on... I am not lying to you, nothing happened while you were away.. I told her straight it's you who I want to be with." Carla then stormed into the Rovers Return to confront Becky, as she threatened: "If you ever kiss her again, I'll kill you." Cassie watched on after overhearing the conversation, and now viewers think she'll be the one to blow Becky's cover. On a Reddit thread, u/editedmorph wrote: "But in one of the scenes in the initial aftermath of Becky coming back (I think it was when Roy clocked Becky was back ‘from the dead’) and Lisa said that she was her sister, Cassie was also engaging in some conversation with Lisa about her “sister” which I found odd as they’d never conversed on screen before. "I’m sure Cassie will have a role to play in all of this in the upcoming weeks (I hope it’s not months as this storyline is a bit wild and daft with so many plot holes). I just loved seeing feisty Carla again. I’ve missed her". u/fluffy3118 replied: "Yeah, I thought the scene with Cassie asking Lisa about her 'sister' was odd too, but I wonder if she clicked on back then because she saw how awkward Roy was talking to Lisa about it? I'd be interested to see how it plays out."

Strictly Come Dancing's Harry Aikines-Aryeetey reveals unique trick in 'difficult' admission

Strictly Come Dancing's Harry Aikines-Aryeetey admitted that he has an unusual trick up his sleeve when it comes to looking serious for his performances. On Saturday (October 25), it was Icons Week in the Strictly Come Dancing ballroom, where the remaining celebrities transformed into various stars. As for Gladiator Harry, he transformed into icon Usher as he performed an Argentine Tango with Karen to the R&B star's track, Caught Up. Harry received a mishmash of scores from the judges, with a total of 30 points. Craig Revel Horwood and Shirley Ballas criticising the routine, while Motsi Mabuse and Anton Du Beke both liked what they saw. For next Saturday (November 1), Harry will have to leave Usher in the past as it's Halloween week on the dancefloor. He'll be performing the American Smooth to Mystical Magical by Benson Boone, with hopes that he'll make it through to another week of Strictly fun. Appearing on Friday's (October 31) installment of Strictly: It Takes Two, Harry and Karen Hauer opened up about their routine to Fleur East. Reflecting on having Oti and Motsi Mabuse's support, Harry shared: "Genuinely, they're legends. It's always nice to feel that people are sort of enjoying what you're doing, but most importantly at the end of the day, the room was electric. "The vibe was so right, and the fact that they can vouch for us, I'm glad that someone's actually saying that." Karen responded to the judges feedback, as she said: "I thought we had fun, we had a really beautiful balance, but you know what? Listen, the judges have a really hard job on their hands, so sometimes they're gonna like it. "Sometimes they're not. I just wish they liked it!" The American Smooth will be a change of pace to the last two weeks for Harry, who admitted that it will be nice to smile again before revealing his unique trick to stay serious. He said: "I'm smiling now just because I know I can smile. Life is about smiling for me, and every day's a gift, so if there's a day that I can't smile... "I have to pretend that Karen's forehead is a dessert that I really want to eat and smoulder at it. That's been really difficult to do, for the last two weeks, I've been looking at your forehead like a dessert!" Both Karen and Fleur laughed as the latter added: "Listen, whatever works!"

Emmerdale fans 'rumble' truth behind 'murder' in devastating April scenes

Emmerdale fans 'rumble' the truth that Ray and Celia are hiding from April after her "murder" twist. On Friday (October 31), Halloween may have arrived in the Dales, but April Dingle was living a real nightmare after she found herself in a devastating situation. Over the last few months, April and Dylan have found themselves firmly under the thumb of Ray and Celia as they groomed them into being part of their drug empire. Having to pay off their debt they owe drug boss Celia, April was tasked with sleeping with a man named Callum during Thursday's (October 30) installment. Pressurised into the situation, April was visibly uncomfortable as Callum commented on how young she looked, and later tried to force her into having sex. Although she said no, he told her that wasn't an option and that he'd locked the door so she'd have to stay all night long. The episode ended on a cliffhanger as April whacked him over the head with a bottle, to which he fell onto the bed unconscious. On Friday, viewers tuned into see if Callum was actually dead and as April confided in Ray and Celia she begged for their help. Ray went to check on Callum and could be heard calling an unknown number, asking for a van to be brought to the address. However, some viewers are convinced that Callum isn't actually dead and that they'll use it against April to drag her further into their dark world. On X (formerly known as Twitter ), @jamieprestigio1 wrote: "Anyone else not believe April killed that man and it’s a trick by Celia/Ray to keep her under their control?" @fake_tv_chef agreed: "Was I not paying enough attention? They really didn't confirm he was dead did they? I think Celia and Ray will make April believe she killed him to hold it over her and own her." Underneath the YouTube upload of the episode, @TeamBabylon-dp2xf echoed: "I bet he's not even dead. They both made her think that so they can make her carry on working for them." Emmerdale airs on weekdays at 7:30pm on ITV1 and is available to stream on ITVX.
