“It is daylight robbery” – Fans share frustration amid ticket drama ahead of IND vs SA ICC Women’s World Cup 2025 final

Harmanpreet Kaur-led India will face off against Laura Woolvardt's South Africa in the ICC Women's World Cup 2025 final at DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai on Sunday, November 2. The Women in Blue beat defending champions Australia by five wickets, scripting history during their marathon run chase in the semifinal. Meanwhile, South Africa beat four-time champions England by 125 runs in the other semifinal. With final tickets as low as ₹100, the fans were keen to watch the ICC event live from the stadium. However, a section of users on X complained about not being able to purchase a ticket from the official website shared by the tournament organizers. Some of them took to the micro-blogging site to share their frustration about the same. One user wrote:"What a foolishness, the final is on 2nd Nov and tickets are not open in Book My Show, it is showing coming soon. Afterwards, they show tickets are full or prizes are high, what a corruption. Stupidity.Another user commented:"Yesterday, the tickets for the Women’s World Cup final at DY Patil Stadium were being sold at a cost of ₹150-₹500. Now look at this, what a shameless exploitation. Don’t call it a demand; it is daylight robbery."A third user added:"See the hypocrisy of @bookmyshow. Why final tickets events has been closed??
