'I tried Kendall Jenner's go-to beauty tool for tired eyes and was so impressed'

Ever wondered how supermodels always look so flawless, even with their hectic lifestyles? Of course, genetics and lifestyle play a significant role, but so do the beauty products they swear by – and Kendall Jenner has just revealed one of her essentials. Recently, while working during Paris Fashion Week, the 29 year old took to her Instagram stories to share a snap of the Therabody TheraFace Depuffing Wand , captioning it: 'The BEST tool (especially when travelling)'. This handy and compact gadget , which launched earlier this year, features hot and cold technology and is primarily designed to help depuff the face, as well as enhance radiance and elasticity. It's particularly targeted at the eye area, where signs of fatigue often appear most prominently. As a beauty and travel editor, I too travel extensively, and I've given it a whirl, reports the Mirror . It's conveniently hand-sized , and incredibly easy to use: simply press the cold button to initiate the cold temperatures then cycle through three intensities, and do the same with the hot button for warm temperatures. When cold, the device emits a slight whirring sound, but it's minimal. All you need to do is glide the nozzle over the skin where it's needed – in my case, under and around my eyes. The specially shaped tip fits snugly into all of your face's nooks and crannies, and it feels instantly refreshing. The programmes last for three minutes before flashing to indicate that you need to switch sides, then automatically turn off after six minutes, after which, I could definitely see an improvement in my eye area : it looked brighter, fresher and less tired. Although similar results can be achieved with ice globes or a gua sha , the beauty of the TheraFace Depuffing Wand is that it never gets warm – something that I personally find annoying when I've used ice globes in the past – and giving optimum results for the whole treatment time. One piece of advice I would give is to apply an eye cream or serum first, to avoid any dragging of the skin (I use it on top of the conductive gel after using my microcurrent face tool). I also tried out the heat setting, focusing particularly on areas of blemishes to soothe them and attempt to draw out any gunk. While this did feel very nice, I don't feel like there were any major benefits, and I probably wouldn't use these warm settings very often. If you travel a lot, however, or struggle with puffy eyes or allergies often, this gadget could be a must-have addition to your beauty routine.
