This Morning forced to apologise as Jamie Lee Curtis swears live on air

This Morning hosts Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley were forced to issue an apology on Tuesday's show as Jamie Lee Curtis swore live on air. During the latest instalment, Ben, 50, and Cat, 49, spoke to Hollywood icon Jamie, 67, about her new movie Ella McCay, which stars Woody Harrelson and Emma Mackey. However, chat soon got onto I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! as Cat and Ben went over to 2023 winner Sam Thompson to get the latest jungle news and gossip. Jamie joked: "I'm A Celeb? I'm a celeb!" This prompted the presenting duo to ask Jamie if she would ever enter the jungle to which she enthusiastically responded: "No, f**k no!" before adding "whoops" over her cheeky blunder. Later, Cat and Ben were forced to issue an apology over the swear word. Cat said: "Hello there, welcome back, we'd just like to say very sorry for Jamie Lee Curtis' language..." To which Ben continued: "As we went into the break, I asked her if she'd go into the jungle and she was pretty adamant, in an Oscar-winning way, that she wasn't going to go into the jungle. "So apologies if anyone was offended for the language that she used but it felt official it was a 'no' going into the jungle." Taking to Twitter , now X, viewers were quick to react over the moment as one person said: "And she just dropped the f bomb live on TV would you go into the jungle? Nooo f(_) ck off oops #thismorning" with laughing emojis. A different account put: "Lmao not Jamie swearing live YASSSS #thismorning", another wrote: "#thismorning loved her reaction to I'm a celeb though lol" while a different viewer commented: "How could you not love Jamie Lee Curtis? She's an absolute legend! #ThisMorning." Elsewhere, another viewer added: "Don’t worry about the F word Jamie we’re only human. #ThisMorning." Also during the chat, Jamie was grilled about the possibility of a Freaky Friday 3. The first Freaky Friday film, which she starred in alongside Lindsay Lohan, was released in 2003. Over the summer, Freakier Friday, a sequel, was released. However, Jamie ruled out a Freaky Friday 3 anytime soon and insisted she probably wouldn't be in it. Jamie said: "Well first of all, in order to do that, our young Julia Butters and young Sophia Hammons, who are 16 and 18 respectively, would have to be old enough to have children so that would mean they would have to be in their 30s. "So that would mean, even if they both got pregnant today, please don't, if they got pregnant today they'd be 37, 38, right? "So that would mean, I would have to be that much older to play great granny. I just don't think that's going to happen." She added: "There won't be another not with me!" This Morning continues on weekdays at 10am on ITV and ITV X.
