Boots sale knocks 'intoxicating' designer perfume by £56 in deal cheaper than Amazon

Anyone looking for a good beauty deal might be tempted to run to Amazon. With the online retailer's Black Friday Week now available until December 1, it seems like a no brainer. While the online retailer's massive sale is definitely worth checking out, it's not the only place to find some deals ahead of November 28, as Boots has slashed the cost of one perfume to its cheapest price on the market. The high street giant is running its own Black Friday sale, with the "intoxicating" Lancôme La Vie Est Belle Rose Extraordinaire Eau de Parfum reduced from £105 to just £49 for 50ml, making it better than half-price. Another reason the Boots deal stands out is that it is cheaper than most other retailers , as the same-size 50ml bottle is priced at £73.50 at Debenhams and £67.99 at The Perfume Shop , while Superdrug offers a smaller 30ml for £50.40. That being said, shoppers looking for alternative perfumes can find incredible deals at elsewhere. Fans of the same feminine, floral scent of Lancôme's might consider Calvin Klein Euphoria Eau de Parfum for Women (100ml) , now £35, down from £94, at Superdrug. Meanwhile, online beauty giant Lookfantastic has quite a few offers worth checking out, with the Yves Saint Laurent Black Opium Glitter Eau de Parfum (50ml) now £52.50, down from £105. However, there's no denying that Lancôme's fragrances are quite beloved, with the La Vie Est Belle Rose Extraordinaire offering an updated twist on the iconic original that has been a favourite of beauty buffs since it launched in 2012. This newest version, which debuted in 2024, offers a bright, modern fragrance that still incorporates the main Iris ingredient, while also offering a "reinterpretation" of the luxury brand's famed flower - the rose. It now offers three different rose extracts to highlight multiple facets - fresh rose water, sensual damascena absolue and space rose accord - creating "a modern interpretation of the iconic flower of perfumery".
