Tottenham suffer blow in pursuit of Barcelona star; new contract on the table

Danso has performed well, showing that he can be relied upon when required. However, with the Lilywhites battling for a top-four spot and competing in the Champions League, Thomas Frank has to beef up his squad. The injury list has been growing lately, which should concern the Danish tactician. He cannot risk heading into the second half of the campaign with limited resources and hurt the team’s chances of achieving its objectives. Thus, it is logical why Tottenham have been eyeing a new central defender. And Spurs have been looking to sign Barcelona defender Eric Garcia, alongside Premier League rivals Chelsea.
