This Bar In Indore Launches 12 Cities, 12 Cocktails, A Cocktail Menu Travels the World

Determined to show that Indore can rival the country’s top culinary destinations, Vedant has unveiled a signature cocktail menu that travels through 12 cities around the world—each drink inspired by a place, a flavour, and a story. The cocktails are unapologetically adventurous and at times polarising, mirroring the team’s belief that great ideas come from taking risks and constantly experimenting. The tasting menu is where the restaurant’s creativity truly shines. Presented as a stylish booklet designed like an international passport, the menu takes guests on a global tasting journey — each page unlocking the flavours, stories, and spirit of a different destination. We start with a smoky chicken lollipop glazed in Buffalo sauce, paired with Santé, a French-inspired cocktail that blends gin, passion fruit, and sparkling wine. “A drink that wears silk to brunch,” the team jokes—a fitting description for its refined yet playful character. The global journey continues with Prost from Switzerland, a delicate mix of vodka, butterfly pea, and passion fruit; Arriba from Mexico, a punchy combination of tequila, jalapeño, and real salsa; and Piyo, India’s own interpretation featuring Gondhoraj lime, mango foam, and caramelised banana. The finale, Geonbae from Korea—a daring fusion of black garlic, yuzu, and gin—arrives with a grin from Vedant. “You’ll either love it or hate it,” he says, laughing. The menu features a sensory scale — Spicy, Sour, Salty, and Creamy — helping guests navigate a flavour journey as varied as the destinations each cocktail represents. Every drink is paired with a custom-designed coaster, showcasing a visual snippet of Atelier V’s bar, much like a keepsake from one’s travels. Flip it over, and you’ll find detailed notes on the cocktail’s inspiration and flavour profile. Collect all 12 coasters, and they piece together to reveal a complete illustration of the bar — a playful nod to discovery and connection. Atelier V is clearly unafraid to experiment. With its spirited team, global influences, and fearless creativity, it captures the excitement of a generation reimagining what dining—and drinking—can mean in modern India.
