Ortiz gave Smith a shirt that said “My Dawg,” featuring a picture of himself in his famous Boston Red Sox jersey. Ortiz also gave a playful warning about what would happen if Smith opted not to wear the shirt. “Hey the last time I tried to give out this shirt, he didn’t take it, I cursed him and he went 0-4 tonight,” said Ortiz, per FOX Sports: MLB on X, formerly Twitter. He was referring to Blue Jays third baseman Addison Barger, who indeed went 0-4 from the plate during the Game 2 loss for Toronto. The series now shifts to Los Angeles for Games 3 through 5, and if the Dodgers are able to find a way to win all three, they’ll be World Series champions for the second straight year and third time in the last six. Noting that IT/BT and other industries have said they will cooperate in Bengaluru’s development, the Deputy CM said he will call them for a meeting. The state government has come under criticism over the poor state of roads and traffic issues in the city for some time now, with industry veterans like former Infosys CFO Mohandas Pai and Shaw repeatedly urging the state government to intervene. Saudi Arabia says its Vision 2030 goals 85% completed

Two weeks ago, John Mateer endured a rough night in Oklahoma’s football team 23-6 loss to Texas, throwing three interceptions with no touchdowns while completing 20 of 38 for 202 yards and rushing 14 times for five yards. But I’m not sure if he has the limitations or not. Again, his velocity is good, his accuracy has been really good. California Governor Newsom mulls 2028 US presidential run

Reuters Gavin Newsom Democratic California Governor Gavin Newsom said in an interview aired on Sunday that he is considering running for U.S. president in 2028 and will make a decision after the 2026 midterm elections. Newsom has made some moves this year to test the waters for a potential presidential run and has gained prominence within his party in confronting Republican President Donald Trump on a range of issues. "I'm looking forward to who presents themselves in 2028 and who meets that moment," Newsom said on the CBS News program "Sunday Morning." Asked if he was considering a run, Newsom said, "Yeah, I'd be lying (if I said) otherwise." Under the U.S. Constitution, Trump is prohibited from running for a third term but has floated the idea regardless, saying earlier this year, "there are methods which you could do it."
