Your Role at a GlanceAs Marketing Manager, you’ll work closely with the Director of Marketing to support the development and execution of an integrated marketing strategy for 1 Hotel Tokyo. From digital campaigns and local partnerships to talent activations and brand content, you’ll help build our presence both online and within the Tokyo community. Key ResponsibilitiesPartnership ActivationsCoordinate branded collaborations with local creatives, sustainable businesses, and lifestyle brands.
Oversee timelines, asset creation, and execution logistics. Digital & Social MediaManage the hotel’s digital presence: plan, publish, and analyze content across all major social platforms. Ensure that tone, visuals, and storytelling reflect the 1 Hotels brand ethos and local relevance. Talent & Influencer RelationsIdentify aligned influencers, creators, and collaborators to enhance brand visibility. Support in organizing content shoots, interviews, and on-property appearances. Campaign ManagementAssist in the rollout of multi-channel marketing campaigns across PR, social, digital, and events. Liaise with internal teams and external agencies to maintain alignment and timelines.
Performance Tracking & ReportingMeasure engagement and campaign impact across digital channels, partnerships, and social media. Provide regular updates to the Director of Marketing and hotel leadership. Brand StewardshipEnsure every touchpoint—from a tweet to an event—reflects the nature-led, luxury-driven identity of 1 Hotels. About YouFluent in both Japanese and English (verbal and written)—essential for cross-cultural communication and local partnerships. 2+ years of experience in a marketing, communications, or brand role—hospitality or luxury lifestyle experience required. Solid understanding of digital marketing tools, content strategy, and social platform algorithms. Skilled in managing creators, influencers, and brand-aligned collaborations.
Exceptionally organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable with fast-paced environments. Passionate about sustainability, wellness, design, and culture. A strong storyteller with a collaborative spirit and solutions-first mindset.
