Our platform powers AI-driven insights, intelligent filings, and event-triggered workflows across all 50 states. ⸻The RoleWe are hiring a Director of AI to lead the design, development, and deployment of intelligent systems that turn court data into action. This is a hands-on leadership role.
You will work directly with engineering, product, and external partners to ship AI that solves high-value problems in the real world.
⸻Key Responsibilities • Own the AI roadmap and work with leadership to align it with product and GTM strategy • Build models that extract, classify, and normalize court data from PDFs, docket feeds, and efiling systems • Design real-time triggers and intelligent workflows for legal professionals based on case activity • Architect document intelligence systems to identify case types, deadlines, and filing errors • Implement human-in-the-loop processes to support fulfillment and improve AI accuracy • Fine-tune and evaluate LLMs for legal tasks using proprietary and third-party data • Collaborate with partners to connect models to real-world execution • Ensure AI systems are safe, auditable, and optimized for speed, precision, and reliability⸻Qualifications • 5+ years of applied AI or ML experience, including NLP and LLMs • Proven ability to lead teams and ship production-grade models • Experience working with legal, healthcare, government, or similarly complex domains • Strong background in Python, open-source LLM tooling, and cloud infrastructure • Deep familiarity with vector databases, embeddings, and document pipelines • Product thinking.
