We regard gender equality and diversity as a strength and an asset.Description Of WorkplaceThe Sustainability Forum is Lund University's joint umbrella organization for strategic support and coordination of sustainability issues in education, research, and collaboration.We are looking for someone who, alongside their studies, wants to work part-time with a student perspective to help develop the activities of the Sustainability Forum. We want you to have a strong commitment to sustainability issues and an interest in communication as a tool for networking, raising awareness, and generating ideas. In collaboration with colleagues at the Sustainability Forum’s office, you will carry out projects from planning to follow-up.The Sustainability Forum’s office is located at the newly established Department of Environmental and Earth Sciences. The office, located at Geocentrum II, consists of five staff members. Read more about the Sustainability Forum here.We offerLund University is a government agency that offers good employment conditions.With a position as a student employee, you as a student have the opportunity to combine studies with work and complement your theoretical knowledge with practical work experience.Read more on the university’s website about working with us.ArbetsuppgifterAs a student employee, the tasks may vary, but they should always have a clear connection to your studies.Example of the duties for this position include:Acting as the Sustainability Forum’s contact point for students and developing new ways to reach students and networks.Participating in the planning, implementation, and follow-up of events, especially Sustainability Week, April 13–18, 2026.Contributing to increased integration of sustainable development as a perspective in education.Producing content for the website and social media.Raising student awareness of the UN’s global sustainability goals and sustainable development as a concept. The duties may be adapted to qualifications and the needs of the organization. QualificationsTo be eligible for employment as a student employee, you must be enrolled in full-time university studies in Sweden, have completed at least 60 credits of approved studies, and not have started doctoral studies.Requirements for the position: Ongoing full-time university studies or education deemed relevant by the employerKnowledge of the UN’s global sustainability goals and sustainable development as a conceptExcellent proficiency in Swedish and/or English, both spoken and writtenAbility to work independentlyGood collaboration skills Merits for the position:Experience studying at Lund UniversityExperience in communication work on social media and the webExperience in planning, coordinating, and implementing eventsEngagement in student associations, unions, or similarExperience working as a student employee Other InformationThe position is limited to the period 2026-01-19 to 2026-06-07, and covers 20% of full-time.You will work according to a schedule agreed upon with you and the employerRegulations regarding employment as a student employee can be found in the “Agreement on Fixed-Term Employment as a Student Employee.”How To ApplyThe application must include a CV and a personal letter explaining why you are interested in the position and how your qualifications match the role.
