Your volunteer efforts will be helping us collectively build something powerful and important.,WANTED 2 Volunteers to Co-Produce and/or Co-Direct Major (much bigger than ComedyRelieve or LiveAid) Star & Activist-Studded Special(s) to Help Protect the 98%,democracy, and the PlanetACT!ToProtect WeThePeople--the 98%, Democracy & the PlanetA 2-3 part internationally streamed benefit series of specials comprised of 1)about 25 of Hollywoods A-list Actors introducing their most moving inspiring scenes from the most powerful moral-courage-inspiring true-story-based movies of the past 50 years, 2) those inspiring scenes, and 3) bookended by Calls to Action from today's most morally courageous organizers and whistleblowers ACTtoProtect would epitomize the highest best use of Hollywood's best Actors and most inspiring movies and America's most morally courageous organizers today to raise $300M for 100-200 of the most potentially impactful city, state, and national campaigns at America's and the Planet's most urgent time of need, before it becomes too late to save democracy and a livable planet, too late to stop the triumph of fascism and the ecoside of our mother earth.VOLUNTEER'S TITLE ACTtoPROTECT CO-FOUNDER (Co Producer or Co Director (with Created-By credit)The Project and Its Mission ActToProtect WeThePeople (the 98%), Our Democracy,and the Planet See the thumbnail and proposal (https //docs.google.com/document/u/0/d/12YmUAPQB3n7oXDA3gSzDM-u-hFxWmSP9DCxkVgblvPc/edit)GOAL Rather than being another movie, ACTtoProtect will instead aim to be Hollywood's Greatest gift to Americans and to the Planet and arguably what is now most needed America and for the world to help ignite new campaigns and support those now happening that will comprise the urgent massive nonviolent national well targeted and managed civic uprising which historyteaches us is absolutely essential now for any chance to stop and reverse the grotesque level of wealth inequality, stop and reduce the ridiculous cost of rent, bring democracy and the rule of law back to America, and as a result stop the current ecocide and preserve our miraculous mother, Nature.HOW, HENCE MISSION By showing 1) the most moving scenes of the most moral courage-inspiring based-on-true- life-story-movies since the 70s, most Oscar-winning or nominated, set up by the lead star of each scene, all A+ actors, 2) bookended by vignettes with their real life courageous counterparts sharing their own reflections on injustice, greed, moral courage and struggle in today's struggles; and all of this intercut with short punchy video pitches (including TikToks showing Gen Alphas fighting back) from campaigns toda, all of this designed to raise $300M for at least 100-200 bold, creative, at times hilarious, democracy, affordability, planet-saving campaigns while re-igniting moral courage in hopefully tens of millions of Americans to take back our country and our government–to achieve a government of, for and by the people.ActToProtect will be a cinematic celebration of the power of moral courage, the most important of all human virtues, because “without moral courage, you can't practice any other virtue consistently"(Maya Angelou)The method or process is to pair emotional inspiration with invitations to tangible action, art fueling the courage to protect democracy, the dignity of ALL Americans--especially the 98%, and our planet.DUTIES and Hours (prefer at least 25hrs/wk; totally flexible hours)Note These duties and the timetable are not in stone and we welcome your suggested revisionsStep 1 (first week if possible) landing 2-3 A-list celeb letters from them or their publicist expressing enthusiasm to participate without charge, providing usual conditions (union waiver, not in the middle of production. NOTE Important We will not need more than 30-40min of the actor's time and the interview can be done in their home or a nearby studio. Step 2 Finding similar letters from potential exec producers, directors, well connected lawyers to expedite free licensing (by showing scenes from these movies, people will be incentivized to re-rent or rent these movies for the first timeStep 3 lining up 2 or 3 local camera-sound light teams, and editors, writers, etc willing to donate their time, scheduling shoots, and beginning to line up social media talentStep 4 (while doing 3) following up with lawyers to expedite studio legal releases of the scenes and getting the footage (noting ins and outs for editors)Step 5 (also can be simultaneous with 3 and 4) Lining up agreements from major distribution channels or one or more streaming networksStep 6 Simultaneous with all of the above Researching to find and commit spokespeople for most courageous and potential high impact or leverage projects to feature in the specials (including some in India or EU if we include A list celebs from those nationstional Duties to be includedDURATION 3-6 Month (but extendable to at least 12 months or longer) to also include arranging PR and social media buzz, arranging acquisition of the 2-3 minute video pitches from local and national campaigns etc and then potentially extended at least one year to handle transparent and wise distribution of funds raised!). For long term Supervising funding process (including garnering most qualified judges), Monitoring, evaluating progress, etc for at least 12months following fundingSTART DATE ASAPRequirements Devotion.
