The Evercore Off-Cycle Intern Program in Stockholm is a 6-month program designed to provide a highly motivated person with a representative experience of a Generalist Team analyst. The team is seeking an ambitious, mature individual with the desire and flexibility to work in an entrepreneurial environment and the ability to learn on the job.Primary Responsibilities: Evercore Off-Cycle Interns are highly motivated individuals and must demonstrate the ability and desire to learn and work hard. They will form an integral part of a deal team, and be responsible for a variety of tasks including:Industry and company research and analysisAnalysis of company accounts, profit & loss and cash flow informationAssist in the preparation of financial models to value and analyse companies or assets in the sectorSupport with the management of certain aspects of transaction processes and marketing material preparationAssist with interpretation of financial and industry operational informationSupport with preparation of detailed financial and strategy presentationsOff-Cycle Interns typically work as part of small teams and will need to demonstrate:A strong interest in corporate financeKnowledge of financial modelling and problem-solving skills supported by attention to detailProject management skillsIndependence, confidence and self-motivationAbility to multitask and work on multiple assignments in parallelAn interest in the telecom market and adjacent industriesSpecific Qualifications:Undergraduate degree or higher (Finance or Accounting subject preferred) with top gradesStrong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to articulate ideas, both written and oralSwedish speakerEnrolled in school 1 prior experience in M&A, Private Equity or Corporate M&AEnthusiastic, outgoing and achievement-oriented characterAdvanced Microsoft Office knowledge: familiarity with other common investment banking application (e.g. Bloomberg, FactSet, Preqin etc.) is a plusAbout Evercore: Evercore (NYSE: EVR) is a premier global independent investment banking advisory firm.
