2D Animator (with CGI Expertise)

The ideal candidate is a hybrid artist — equally comfortable crafting expressive 2D animations and integrating CGI elements to produce high-quality, polished visual content. You’ll work closely with designers, creative leads, and development teams to bring characters, environments, and narrative elements to life for web, mobile, games, and marketing content.Key ResponsibilitiesProduce high-quality 2D animations for characters, environments, UI/UX, motion graphics, and short-form content.Create and integrate CGI elements such as 3D props, FX, particles, lighting, and camera movements.Collaborate with creative and technical teams to develop storyboards, animatics, and visual concepts.Handle full animation pipeline: sketching, layout, shading, compositing, rendering.Optimize animations for different platforms (web, mobile, games).Ensure timely delivery of assets while maintaining excellent quality.Participate in brainstorming and contribute creative solutions to complex visual challenges.Required Skills & Experience2–4+ years of demonstrable experience in 2D animation and CGI/3D integration.Proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Toon Boom, Blender, or Maya.Strong understanding of animation principles (timing, weight, dynamics).Ability to create stylized assets, FX, and compositing.Experience with rigging and character animation (2D + 3D).Good grasp of lighting, shading, and camera work in CGI.Portfolio or showreel demonstrating both 2D and CGI work (mandatory).
