Job Description

Primary Objective/Purpose of RoleResponsible to conduct thorough research on industry - related topics, generating ideas for new content types and proofreading articles before publication, to create print and digital content for the brands 2XL and OC Home . To develop content that accurately reflects company ideals. Salary Dhs. 5,000 to 6,000Roles & ResponsibilityResponsible for writing content for products (description, naming, attributes, etc) for both 2XL Home & OC Home as per SEO keywords. Optimize the content for Marketplace, Create & Edit content for the website. Proof-reading any content before posting. Producing online post-promoting our products on our E-commerce platform.

Drafting the blogs for the website. Co-ordinate with the SEO team and follow the SEO guidelines to increase the traffic on the website. Update the website content as and when needed. Update the captions/taglines for banners on the website. Writing the Google /meta Ad copies for different campaigns. Research industry-related topics (combining online sources, interviews and studies). Write clear marketing copy to promote our products/brand. Prepare well-structured drafts using CMS. Proofread and edit blogs posts before publicationSubmit work to editors for input and approval. Coordinate with marketing and design teams to illustrate articles.

Conduct simple keyword research and use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic. Provide updated & new product write up to Technical Lead & Ecom/Marketplace Coordinator to upload on website. Liaise with translation team for Arabic content. Maintain brand-tone of voice. Develop content for website blog , email & Whatsapp campaignsPerform special assignments as given by the Head of the Department. Knowledge, Skill & Competencies requiredBachelor's degree in Marketing, English, Communications or related field. 3 - 5 years of Content Writer experience preferred.

Familiarity with AI writing assistants and content optimization platformsAdaptability to rapidly evolving AI tools and digital marketing trendsStrong attention to detail and analytical skillsGood team skills Social Media Strategies using social media for brand awareness and impressions. Exceptional creativity and innovation. Excellent time management and organisational skills. Experience doing research using multiple sources. Familiarity with web publications. Excellent written, verbal communication & editing skills in English. Hands-on experience with CMS (e. g. , WordPress)Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Excellent knowledge of Facebook,Meta, X, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, and other social media best practices.
