310B Licenced Mechanic - Kitchener

Voyago is hiring 310B Licenced Mechanic to be based in our Kitchener location!Your RoleReporting directly to the Fleet & Assets Manager: You are responsible for evaluating and ensuring vehicle safety through preventative maintenance as required and all in compliance with all Ministry of Transportation (MTO) and Voyago's guidelines. This will include body work:Structural and body repair: Straightening and aligning frames, repairing or replacing body panels, and ensuring doors, hoods, and other parts are correctly alignedPanel work: Filling, grinding, sanding, and finishing body surfaces to match factory specificationsComponent replacement: Removing and replacing a variety of parts, including glass, sheet metal, steering and suspension components, and interior parts like seat belts and air bagsElectrical and mechanical work: Repairing or replacing electrical and vacuum components, wiring harnesses, and air-conditioning systemsYou will utilize parts from inventory or order parts necessary through the Fleet Management software to make repairsYou will complete repairs in a timely mannerYou will be servicing vehicles in accordance with corporate policies and proceduresYou will keep work environment clean and tidyYou will complete required reports as directed (i.e. sign-off on driver-initiated repair logs and log books, and PM service logs by division)The possibility for travel within Ontario to assist in other Voyago / Transdev garages exists.
