Job Title: 2D/3D Industrial Designer – Hydrogen & Renewable EnergyLocation: Belgium / Remote Employment Type: 3 month Freelance About the Opportunity A leading international engineering and technology group is expanding its hydrogen energy division. The company specializes in designing and delivering innovative industrial solutions in renewable energy, sustainable production, and advanced process systems.We are looking for a 2D/3D Industrial Designer to join a growing engineering design team, contributing to the development of high-pressure hydrogen systems, including hydrogen stations and electrolyzers. This is an opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects in a fast-growing sector with a global impact.What You’ll DoDesign and model industrial equipment and systems to meet performance, quality, and cost targets.Prepare detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings to support manufacturing and installation.Develop layouts and P&ID diagrams consistent with project specifications.Collaborate closely with process, mechanical, and electrical engineers to integrate system components.Produce fabrication and assembly drawings for internal and subcontracted manufacturing.Participate in design reviews, contribute to continuous improvement, and maintain document control.Support industrialization processes, including the definition of components and assemblies.What We’re Looking ForDegree: Technical or industrial design background (mechanical, process, or equivalent).Experience: 3–5+ years in industrial or mechanical design, preferably in hydrogen energy, renewable energy, or industrial process equipment.Software Skills:AutoCAD (2D & 3D)AutoCAD Plant 3D, Inventor, or RevitExperience with P&ID, Isometrics, and layout drawingsLanguages: English and/or French proficiency required.Soft Skills: Team player, precise, autonomous, detail-oriented, with strong communication skills.Why This Role Is ExcitingWork on innovative hydrogen energy projects shaping the future of renewable energy.Join a supportive international engineering team with opportunities for professional development.Be part of a fast-growing sector at the forefront of sustainable industrial solutions.How to Apply Submit your CV and portfolio highlighting relevant hydrogen, process equipment, or renewable energy design experience.
