OverviewCampus & Community Recruiter will be responsible for collaborating with 84 Lumber leadership and Lead Campus and Community Recruiter to develop regional campus & community strategies and identify, establish, and maintain relationships with key educational establishments and community organizations that will fuel the 84 Lumber talent pipeline. ResponsibilitiesManage and maintain relationships with educational institutions including trade schools, tech schools, and 4-year programs to develop a strong talent pipelineManage and maintain relationships with community organizations including workforce investment boards, career services organizations, chambers of commerce, etc.
to develop brand awareness and a strong talent pipelineDevelop, plan, and execute regional campus & community recruiting strategies and an annual calendar in partnership with recruiters and recruiting leadsDevelop, plan and execute 84 Lumber’s presence and increased visibility at career fairs, conferences, industry events, and information sessionsWork closely with the Campus & Community Lead to source, recruit, and hire interns across a wide range of roles Serve as “boots on the ground” nationally to increase campus and community-based pipelinesAdvise Talent Management and Marketing on where and how to make small but significant investments in candidate markets (Ex.
High school science fairs, Tech school t-shirt sponsors, etc. )Be a strategic partner to the entire recruiting team in order to build out more effective grass-roots campaignsManage all campus & community related digital platforms (ex. Handshake, Simplicity, Campus Job Boards, etc. )QualificationsAbility to multitask in a fast-paced environmentStrong customer service skillsStrong presentation & public speaking skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsBachelor’s Degree (Human Resources, Sales or Marketing) or equivalent experienceAbility to travel up to 80%
