Chief Operating Officer

Aamal is seeking an experienced Chief Operations Officer (COO) to lead its industrial operations across sectors including structured steel, copper cable, and emerging industries. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing and power sectors, with a focus on operational excellence and strategic execution. This role reports to the CEO and is vital for achieving efficiency, profitability, and long-term growth. Key ResponsibilitiesOversee daily operations across manufacturing plants and service business units. Develop and execute strategies in collaboration with the CEO to meet growth and profitability goals. Lead continuous improvement initiatives, process optimization, and lean manufacturing implementation.

Manage procurement, logistics, and supply chain for maximum efficiency and cost control. Ensure quality compliance, safety standards, and operational consistency. Mentor and lead a high-performing operations team across multiple sites. Develop and manage operational budgets, ensuring financial targets are met. Engage stakeholders and align operations with the company’s strategic direction. Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and QHSE standards. Uphold ethical standards and promote a culture of integrity and accountability. Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field (MBA preferred). Arabic and English speaker.

10+ years of senior leadership experience in manufacturing and industrial operations. Strong track record in operations management, strategic planning, and process improvement. Experience in power, utilities, or renewable energy sectors is an advantage. Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire teams and drive performance. Financial expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
