Job Title: Lead QA / Agile Project ManagerLocation: Toronto, ON (3x onsite a week)Employment Type: Full TimeJob DescriptionWe are looking for a dynamic and hands-on Lead QA / Agile Project Manager to oversee the end-to-end testing lifecycle and drive Agile delivery for a small, focused development and QA team. This hybrid role combines strong quality assurance leadership with Agile project management to ensure timely, high-quality delivery of integrations, reports, and platform migration components. Key ResponsibilitiesQuality Assurance Leadership (Hands-On): Define and lead the end-to-end testing strategy, including functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing.

Be hands-on in test planning, test case creation, execution, and defect management. Lead testing efforts for Charles River IMS and SimCorp based systems, ensuring platform-specific workflows and data validations are thoroughly tested. Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure test coverage aligns with business and technical requirements. Ensure all deliverables meet the Definition of Done and are free of P0/P1/P2 defects before release. Manage test data preparation, environment readiness, and test reporting. Agile Project ManagementAct as Scrum Master for a 4-member development and QA team.

Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Maintain and manage JIRA boards, sprint backlogs, and burn-down charts. Track team velocity, identify blockers, and ensure timely delivery of sprint goals. Collaborate with program management and stakeholders to align sprint deliverables with project milestones. Required Skills & Experience8+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 3 years in a QA leadership role. Proven experience in Agile project management or Scrum Master roles. Strong understanding of testing methodologies, test lifecycle management, and defect triage. Hands-on experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, TestRail, or similar.

Experience with integration testing, ETL validation, and report testing (SSRS, Power BI). Hands-on testing experience with Charles River IMS and SimCorp systems. Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills. Preferred QualificationsExperience in financial services or asset management domain. Exposure to data migration testing and platform transition projects. Certification in Scrum (CSM/PSM) or Agile Project Management is a plus.
