Associate System Administrator

ABANA Enterprises Group Co. is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Associate System Administrator to support our IT infrastructure team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our company's computer systems and network. The Associate System Administrator will assist in managing user accounts, performing regular maintenance on servers, and monitoring security risks associated with our technology environment. You will also be responsible for providing technical support to staff and assisting in the training of application usage. Key Responsibilities:

Maintain/amend configurations in Routers, Switches, Firewalls and APsPerform hardware repairs, installation, updates and maintenance on serversMaintain/amend configurations in Forcepoint & Fortinet firewallsManage and maintain organization IT infrastructure and monitor performance and availability of IT servicesIdentify and execute upgrades of IT infrastructure when neededOversee network and IT services securityExperience with firewalls, VPNs, remote implementation, troubleshooting, and problem resolution is desiredPlan and execute network infrastructure for new organizational application requirementsAssist in scheduling and applying system and application patchesDocument patching processes and ensure minimal downtimeMonitor uptime and performance of core applicationsLiaise with senior system administrators to troubleshoot and resolve incidentsEnsure accurate and timely delivery of access rights based on rolesProvide regular reports on capacity and suggest improvements or upgradesCoordinate hardware and software inventory management, ensuring equipment is maintained and replaced as necessaryRequirementsQualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. Cisco certification. Experience: 2 Years of experience (including 1+ Years exposure to cybersecurity tasks or training). Skills: Self‐motivated, team player, action and result orientedKnowledge of network devices including routers, switches, and firewalls; Cisco telephony knowledge preferredBasic understanding of security concepts like phishing, malware, MFA, and user access controlWell organized, strong communication skills
