Your Role And ResponsibilitiesWe are looking for a dedicated Line Manager to lead a team of approximately 20 travelling Service and Commissioning Engineers.

In this role, you will be responsible for resource planning and execution of site activities across a wide range of projects and service assignments within Marine Norway. You will also collaborate closely with other marine units to enhance service productivity and technical expertise. Work model: HybridLocation: Marine Service Operations, NorwayKey Responsibilities:

Lead and develop a team of Service and Commissioning EngineersManage resource allocation for commissioning, on-call service, and planned maintenance—both internally and externallyCoordinate with other ABB units to align service activities and secure resourcesDrive service performance through effective planning and adherence to safety and quality standardsEnsure team certifications comply with global and local regulationsRepresent ABB in collaboration with customers and internal service teamsSupport ad hoc problem-solving with customers, engineers, and technical supportOversee and follow up on on-call service jobs in cooperation with the Service CoordinatorFacilitate knowledge transfer from service findings to product/system teams for continuous improvementContinuously seek smarter, more efficient ways of workingQualificationsDegree in Engineering (Bachelor’s or Technical College)Proven experience in operational service environmentsSolid understanding of marine systemsStrong leadership skills with the ability to drive changeExcellent decision-making and prioritization abilitiesCollaborative, solution-oriented, and proactive mindsetComfortable working in a fast-paced environment with practical problem-solving skillsFluent in both written and spoken EnglishWe Offer YouA Safe and Inclusive EnvironmentWe cultivate a culture where you can be yourself, ask questions, and challenge the status quo.
