This position is within our Infectious Diseases Business. Job Purpose And ScopeTo lead and establish the scientific presence of ARDx ID by differentiating Abbott through the market focused scientific strategies and implementation. Medical Affairs Manager is required to deliver scientific and technical leadership to support ID customers and employees in the country. The incumbent will be responsible for identifying the scientific need and key differentiators and plan effective scientific strategies and build KOL network. The incumbent should demonstrate and promote a high level of compliance in work process and documentation and promote best practices both internal and external.

By working collaboratively with the broader sales and marketing organization the Medical Affairs Manager will enhance and add value to the overall business. Core Job ResponsibilitiesInitiates and conducts investigator-initiated studies and /or research studies. Provides technical review, direction, and feedback to others. Proposes new ideas related to products /ID specific topics. Monitors actively scientific literature and attends scientific events. Interprets results, draws conclusions, and creates educational packages and objection handling packages for the sales organization. Review scientific competitor data and provide recommendations as applicable. Partner with commercial teams to present scientific information to appropriate customer stakeholders.

Gives scientific presentations at conferences. Organizes satellite symposia, Advisory Boards, and user meetings. Establishes and maintains relationships with Key Opinion Leaders. Ensure compliance with all aspects of the Quality System. Participate in Operational and Business reviews as required. Assist quality team in customer complaints resolution, ensuring best customer outcomes.
