Full-time DescriptionJob Duties Manage day-to-day field operations of construction projects. Manage subcontractors effectively/efficiently. Professional interactions with clients, inspectors, engineers. Manage project schedule, including weekly preparation of 3-week look ahead report. Coordination among trades. Maintain job site safety. Maintain a daily log of job site activities. Maintain job site security. Coordinate site testing and inspection efforts. Field layout/survey. Manage field costs, including labor and material. Participate in weekly job meetings. Manage close-out process and warranty responses with Project ManagerRequirementsDesired Characteristics:
5 or more years’ experience in commercial construction Be able to present a credible, confident, positive image of oneself and the company during oral presentations to clients, designers, and others. Capable of addressing difficult issues with problem-solving techniques and solutions. Be able to effectively use various computer programs, including but not limited to Outlook, Excel, Word, and Microsoft Project. Demonstrate strong leadership, organization, and time management skills, as well as have strong communication and client service skills. This candidate must have a basic understanding of all the trades associated with commercial construction.
Experience in data centers and high reliability facilities, with an understanding of their specialized MEP system is a plus. Ability to directly supervise all field labor forces, including subcontractors. Salary Description $100,000 - $120,000
