Academic and Data Analyst [West / 1-year convertible]

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical personnel to support faculty recruitment and the academic lifecycle. This role plays a critical part in enabling data-driven decision-making and enhancing operational efficiency across faculty-related processes.Location: West Duration: 1-year (subjected to conversion)Key Responsibilities:Assist with recruitment planning and forecasting by maintaining and analysing historical data on faculty hires, vacancies, and turnover.Monitor and track progress of ongoing search processes, including candidate pipelines, interview stages, and offer approvals.Analyse applicant pool data to assess diversity, qualifications, and competitiveness.Develop and maintain dashboards and visualizations to communicate recruitment outcomes by department, discipline, and demographic metrics.Identify and recommend improvements to ensure equity and effectiveness in recruitment practices.Academic Lifecycle AnalyticsAnalyse data to support strategic planning and decision-making for faculty recruitment, onboarding, reappointment, tenure and promotion processes.Maintain comprehensive records of faculty appointments, credentials, and academic contributions.Track faculty development programs, awards, research output, and engagement.Present data insights in a clear and actionable manner to leadership and stakeholders.Job Requirements:Min Degree in a related fieldFamiliarity with managing data-related projectsGood knowledge of databases, spreadsheets, and data entry tools (eg.
