We are working with a multinational financial services company specialising in online trading who is seeking to onboard an Automation Quality Assurance to join their team in Limassol. Position: Automation Quality AssuranceLocation: Limassol, CyprusEmployment type: Full-timeDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Appium, or similar. Conduct both automated and manual testing across web, mobile, and backend platforms to ensure software quality. Integrate and manage test suites within continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or equivalent.
Collaborate closely with development teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues early in the software development lifecycle. Create, update, and maintain test plans, test cases, and related documentation to support test coverage and traceability. Ensure a high level of test coverage and contribute to the enhancement and maintenance of testing frameworks. Support performance, load, and security testing efforts as needed. Actively participate in Agile development practices, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives. REQUIREMENTS: Native or fluent in English (C1 level), with strong proficiency in both written and spoken communication.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in quality assurance automation. Proficient in using automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, Appium, or similar. Solid programming/scripting experience in one or more languages, such as Java, JavaScript, Python, or C#. Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, test case design, and QA best practices. Experience with mobile testing and a good understanding of platform-specific guidelines for Android and iOS. Familiarity with API testing using tools like Postman, Swagger, or automation frameworks.
Experience using debugging and logging tools for mobile and web applications (e. g. , Charles Proxy, Android Studio, Xcode, Logcat). Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and familiarity with tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Bitbucket Pipelines, or similar. Strong attention to detail and the ability to thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments. Exposure to mobile app deployment processes and tools (e. g. , Fastlane, Bitrise, Firebase Distribution) is a plus. OFFER:
