YOUR MISSION: Advise Legal and business teams on trade compliance sanctions and policies to ensure company compliance. Respond to trade compliance queries, escalate complex issues, and provide clear guidance as needed.
Conduct due diligence and risk assessments for new business opportunities and potential incidents. Support the implementation and improvement of trade compliance programs and processes. Deliver training to increase trade compliance awareness across relevant teams. Engage with external client trade compliance teams and regulatory authorities when required. Assist senior management in sensitive matters, including licensing and official reporting. Contribute to process improvements and development of support materials like checklists. Build strong relationships within the Legal Network and provide constructive feedback to colleagues. WHO YOU ARE: A degree in Law, Foreign Trade, or International Relations.
Minimum 5 to 10 years of experience in Trade Compliance or other Compliance areas. Fluent in English (C1+). Proficiency in using MS Office applications (e. g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint). Comfortable with technology and has experience in using tools, AI & databases. Good experience in generic/legal research and report creation, including due diligence. Understanding corporate business practices, commercial agreements, legal and compliance principles. Demonstrate accuracy, consistency, and strong organizational skills. Lead and support projects while adapting to changing priorities. Communicate clearly and persuasively with both executives and colleagues. Show autonomy, reliability, and the ability to deliver on commitments.
