Our entrepreneurial model provides smallholder farmers with a sustainable way to participate in formalized markets, enabling them to work themselves out of poverty with dignity and to prosper.
Acceso currently operates a portfolio of three social businesses in Colombia, Haiti and El Salvador and an agtech tool (Extensio) founded in Mexico. Across our agribusinesses, we have impacted nearly 35,000 smallholder farmers and farm workers, generating more than $80m in farmer income to date. About This RoleThe Agri Program Intern will contribute to the implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of the program’s agricultural activities, while developing practical skills in agricultural project management. Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the planning and coordination of Agri Program activities in the field. Participate in data collection (focus groups, plot monitoring, beneficiary surveys, etc. ).
Contribute to the drafting of technical reports and activity summaries with the field team. Actively participate in the creation and adaptation of training modules. Assist in the organization of training sessions and workshops for producers. Support the updating of monitoring tools (Excel spreadsheets, databases, etc. ). Support the collection and contribute to the analysis of soil samples. QualificationsGraduate student in agronomy, rural development, project management, or a related field. Strong writing skills and proficiency with computer tools (Excel, Word). Motivated, independent, and a team player. Knowledge of the Haitian rural context is an asset.
